An advantage to being among the first in the stadium is you get a chance to appreciate the layout. I guess it was a good thing that we got to the stadium so early and avoided the large crowds, but it did bring down our pre-game excitement a little bit. We spent a lot of time sitting around watching the exciting Austrailia victory over Japan and thought of our Aussie friends from the airport. The beer was starting to wear off by kickoff, and it was very hot inside the stadium.
