The Dutch throng calmed down during the second half of the game. With Ivory Coast on the attack, determined to tie the game, orange-clad fans feared the worst. But when the final whistle blew and Holland had a 2-1 win, the massive crowd erupted in another scene of uncontrolable glee. Smoke bombs went off, flares were lit, beer cups flew through the sky; the Dutch were through!
